Spotlight on Dr. Anaïs Carniciu, M.D.

Dr. Carniciu performs a wide array of surgical procedures, including upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, brow lift, mid-face lift, tear duct repair, and skin cancer reconstruction. Additionally, she personally performs all cosmetic injections, including BOTOX, Dysport, Sculptra, and Restylane. She is passionate about delivering natural-looking results that enhance each patient’s unique beauty while elevating their quality of life. Dr. Carniciu graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College before receiving her medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She underwent residency training in ophthalmic surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was chosen as Chief Resident. Dr. Carniciu was honored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) with the chance to complete a prestigious Fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery, paving the way for her illustrious career in this complex and delicate field. ASOPRS is considered the gold-standard credentialing body in the field of oculoplastic surgery and only 750 surgeons worldwide can claim membership in this elite organization.
